Atom™ and Tobias have been two key figures in the development of European ‘techno’ from the very beginning. Active since the 1980’s, both artists have represented major cogs in the community. 1990 marks their first collaborative performance in Frankfurt, emerging as one of the first live shows ever played within this scene. From here the two started a journey of sonic explorations which led them to release the mighty “Elektroniikkaa” live recording from Helsinki and Montreux. Their subsequent releases are all derivatives of live performances, which consistently remain the number one focus.

Despite a spatial separation given by Atom’s relocation to Chile and Tobias’ to Berlin, upon reconnecting with the machines in 2003 creative flow surged spontaneously. Throughout the expressive tool of live performance, Atom™ and Tobias are able to create sound through an eccentrical deviation from all musical standards and a total adaptation to their environment. This is the core of their improvisations: a total abandonment to each other's creativity, in which their consciousnesses merge and flow into the instruments in front of them.

Having both experienced three decades of music and some of the world’s most exceptional dance floors such as Berghain or Panorama Bar, their knowledge of the sonic realm is limitless. Their latest performances have reached clubs such as Kyiv’s Closer to Japan’s Labyrinth Festival.
